One may search, for example, “Solar panel experts near me”. In order to direct this searcher to your services, your goal is to make your website rank higher by supplying the most relevant content to what the searcher wants . Here’s how:

Let’s take our example from earlier. Google’s algorithm will detect a few facets to the phrase. These include ‘solar panel’, ‘experts’, and ‘near me’.

When deciding which site ranks highest in search listings, your site’s content will be analyzed.

  1. Do you mention solar panels, and does the copy on your website seem to revolve around it? Google needs to make sure that a potential solar investor can easily find solar companies.
  2. Does your site use a balance of copy including advanced lexicon that is demonstrative of a strong understanding of solar? Take technology for solar panels— if your site mentions different options, like bifacial solar cells, or micro morph technology, you set yourself up as an expert in the field, which is who this searcher hopes to find.
  3. Does your site make it evident that the locality of the searcher is matched? Find your target area. If that’s the DMV area, and not just Virginia, for example, you might want to mention in the website that your service is for the entire region. Interactive maps of service areas are also smiled upon by Google.

Although there are more such metrics that your site will be gauged using, keyword optimization is a crucial starting point for any journey in your business’ success in the digital landscape.
